Shed and under-house clear-outs, Upper North Shore

Every house has two storeys. It's the under one that fills up.

The shed, the garage, the space under the floorboards on the low side of the slope. On blocks held thirty and forty years they hold their own quiet archaeology, and clearing them is half sorting, half carrying, and all care.

How a clear-out actually runs

Everything into the light

We carry it out onto the lawn where you can see it, because half of what a shed holds hasn't been looked at in a decade, and some of it turns out to matter.

Three piles, your call

Keep, go, and not-sure. You rule on the not-sure pile at your own pace. Nothing leaves the block without your nod. Tools and timber worth keeping get restacked properly, not tossed.

Swept, aired, walkable

The floor gets swept, the shelves wiped down, and you get your shed back as usable space, not just an emptier version of the same chaos.

Why it pairs with the garden

Nearly every garden clearance we do up here ends with someone looking at the shed and saying, while you're here. So we plan for it: the truck that takes the hedge pile has room sorted for the shed contents, the green waste rides separate from the general load, and one fixed price covers the whole visit. One crew, one afternoon, two layers of the block cleared.

It works the other way too. Book the shed, and if the back corner needs doing we'll fold it into the same figure before we start.

What comes out of an Upper North Shore shed

Paint tins and old chemicals are the honest wrinkle: they can't go in a general load, and we won't pretend otherwise. We'll set them aside and point you at the right drop-off (NSW runs free household-chemical collection programs, see where it all goes). E-waste, the dead TV, the beige computer from 1998, rides with us to a licensed e-waste facility because in NSW it can't lawfully go to general waste. The mower, the rusted bikes, the offcut timber, the flat basketballs and the mystery boxes all load straight onto the truck, and the whole lot is in the one fixed price you heard before we started.

Fixed price, agreed before we lift a thing

Ready when the block is

Tell us what's grown, what died, or what forty years put under the house. We'll come and look, agree one all-in price, and then it's cleared, raked and gone.
