Privacy
The short version: we collect what you type into the enquiry form, we use it to handle your enquiry, and we don't sell it or mail-list you. The longer version follows.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you provide: your name, phone number, email if you include it, your suburb, whatever you tell us about the job, and which page the form was sent from. The site also records ordinary, non-identifying technical information, page views by country and device type, with no cookies and no advertising trackers. We don't use analytics that follow you to other sites. If a page breaks in your browser, the error message and the page address are sent back to the site so it can be fixed. And if a phone number is ever listed here and you tap it, your browser sends a single ping to the call system our website provider runs, so the call can be answered faster. The ping carries the name of this website and nothing about you.
How we use it
Your enquiry details are used to respond to you, to arrange and price the work you've asked about, and for basic record-keeping. We may share your enquiry with a suitable local provider to service your request. Estate and downsizing enquiries are treated with particular discretion and read only by the people who would handle the work.
What we don't do
We don't sell your details, publish them, or add you to marketing lists. You'll only hear from us about the enquiry you sent. There's no newsletter to be signed up to, because we don't run one.
Keeping the bots out
Our forms carry two defences against spam. One is a simple hidden field that people never see but automated scripts fill in; a submission that fills it is quietly discarded. The other is Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that loads from Cloudflare when the form is on the page and may ask you to tick a box. It is there to tell a person from a script, and the result of that check is stored with your enquiry. Everything else comes straight through.
Storage and retention
Enquiries are stored securely and retained only as long as they're useful for handling your job and our records. You can ask us at any time, through the enquiry form, to see what we hold about you or to have it deleted, and we'll do so unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
